Boys Varsity comes up short in OT in the Area Tournament 

A great season by both Boys and Girls Varsity.  

Pruitt Durham wins State in the 100 Breaststroke! 


Congrats to Ellie Gilbreath - 4 time State Champion! 

Ellie became only the 6th runner, in all classes of OSSAA cross country history, to win 4 individual state championships! 

Rams fall to Shattuck 26-42 in hard fought State Championship game. 

Regent finishes the season 14-1. Great season! 

The Rams fall 3-2 to Bethany HS at State 

Varsity Volleyball finishes their season with a 27-10 record. Great job girls! 

They will play Rejoice Christian on Friday, March 1st at 3pm at Checotah HS. Go Rams!

The Boys Basketball team won 56-46 while the Girls team won 48-37. They will next play in the District Tournament this Friday and Saturday night. 

The Varsity Girls won 42-28 and the Varsity Boys won 74-62. Go Rams!

The Rams outscored their three opponents 183 to 112 in the tournament. The Girls Varsity finished in 4th place. Go Rams!

The Rams have won 7 of their last 8 games and will play Class 2A #17 Mounds tonight at 7pm at the Mounds Varsity Tournament.

REGENT WINS REGENT BOYS TOURNAMENT For the second year in a row, the Regent boys varsity basketball team captured the 8 team Regent Tournament on Jan. 12th.  Regent defeated Prue and Hulbert to advance to the finals of the tournament to play Rejoice, the 9th ranked team in 2A.  Regent has had 7 straight games with Rejoice over the last three seasons that have been determined in the last two minutes of each game, with no game being won by more than 4 points. After falling behind in the second half by 11 points in the tournament finals, Regent rallied to win 34-30 against one of the best teams in 2A this year.  After the championship game,  Regent team members received an individual championship medallion, as the team received the first place trophy. Regent boys varsity basketball has now advanced to 21 regular season and post season tournament championship games, while winning 15 of those tournaments since joining the OSSAA in 2015.  REGENT DEFEATS METRO The Regent Rams defeated Pinnacle Conference rival, Metro Christian,  at home on Thursday, Jan. 17th by a score of 49-37.  The very talented and successful Metro team  entered the game with a 13-1 Record and ranked 5th in 3A this season.  In the game, the Rams were led in steals by Harrison Smith with 5, Jack Wright with 4 and Drew Marburger with 4.  Drew also led the team in defensive deflections in the game. The Regent had outstanding defensive and rebounding efforts again from Jonathan Buskirk and David Buskirk.  Harrison Smith led another balanced scoring effort for the Rams. The Rams received quality bench support in the varsity game and also won the JV game vs. Metro. Regent advanced to 10-3 on the season and a ninth straight season win in the conference win with Metro.  The Rams will play Metro again in a special BOK basketball event, at the downtown BOK, on Feb. 2nd at 10:30 a.m. JONATHAN BUSKIRK,  TULSA WORLD "MR. INSIDE" SELECTEE Jonathan Buskirk, a four year Regent varsity basketball starter, has been selected to the Tulsa World “Mr. Inside” as one of the best 15 high school 2018-19 inside basketball players.  Jonathan has been a very competitive player, in his career,  with Regent going to the state tournament twice and to the area finals once in the last three years.  Jonathan was also a past top 5 Pinnacle Conference first team player, as a junior. This year, Jonathan is the leading rebounder on the 10-3 Regent team , while averaging 10 points and 9 rebounds a game.  Jonathan is a versatile player and terrific defensive player  that has played all 5 positions for Regent.  Fan voting for Jonathan, as  "Mr. Inside" with the Tulsa World, can be made often, until March first at: ...
